Given the growth in demand, according to Western experts, only Russian gas supplies can meet the growing needs of the English market in the face of lower temperatures. Domestic mining and other sources of imports are almost exhausted. However, the Great Frost may be for the British, but not for Russia. According to forecasts, the air temperature in London by the end of January 2019 can drop only to –1.1 o C.
British are really worried that Putin, offended by the UK because of the scriptures scandal, could freeze Russian gas supplies to the UK. We can reassure prudish Englishmen, which is something, but there will be no overlap of Russian gas supplies to the UK, and a string of tankers, gas carriers from the LNG plant Yamal LNG, is proof of that. For the curious, we recall that the British receive Russian gas also from the network of supplies on the European gas transportation system.
