Tatneft in 2018 increased the volume of associated petroleum gas processing
Almetyevsk, Neftegaz.RU. In 2018, the management of Tatneft received 845.4 million m 3 of associated petroleum gas (APG) from the fields of Tatneft. This is 25.4 million m3 more than in 2017.
UTNGP is a high-tech industrial complex engaged in the processing of APG and a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons (BFLH). The volume of NGL refining at the complex oil treatment units (CCFU) amounted to 320.9 thousand tons, which is 46.2 thousand tons more than in 2017 (YoY). The capacity of the gas pumping facility allowed cleaning of 263.6 million m 3 sour gas, which is 30.6 million m 3 more than YoY. The quality of products manufactured by UTNGP meets the requirements of the standards.
In 2018 UTNGP, the gas processing plant (GPP) was reconstructed, the construction and installation work of the plant-wide flare system, and the raw gas compressor unit were continued. A modernized desulfurization unit was commissioned at Minnebaevsky Central Processing Plant, block wastewater treatment plants were built for the circulating water supply system, and a number of other facilities were reconstructed.
In December 2018, the Elkhovsk Refinery (Refinery) of Tatneft (formerly the Elkhovsk Refinery Directorate of NGDU Elkhovneft) became part of the UTNGP. The restructuring was carried out within the framework of the formation of the Tatneft business line Oil and Gas Processing in order to improve the efficiency of the refining process management system, standardize them, and improve the quality of work.
Products UTNGP became the winner and laureate of the contest 100 best goods of Russia in 2018 in the nomination Products for industrial purposes. The winner of the competition was recognized as the fraction of normal butane of the “highest” grade, obtained by gas fractionation of NGL, representing butane (at least 98.6%) with an admixture of accompanying hydrocarbons. Among the contest winners there is an isobutane fraction “higher”, obtained by gas fractionation of NGL, representing isobutane (not less than 98.0%) with an admixture of accompanying hydrocarbons.
